Little Corner Wood is like a cosy community centre hidden in an industrial building in Wong Chuk Hang.

Woodwork beginners carefully shave wooden blocks into curved bowls on one end, while experienced hobbyists continue working on their wooden vases surehandedly. Instructors check on different stations while honing their wood carving skills. The different parties exchange notes sometimes.

The woodworking studio offers classes from wooden bowls to carving a sculpture of your pet cat. It also allows experienced woodworkers to rent a wood lathe or other pieces of woodcrafting machinery per session.

Drewswork

Eyeing one of those ergonomic kneeling chairs as a Christmas present? Now you can make your own kneeling chair. Helmed by Ulli, a German wood engineering expert, Drewswork offers more than a dozen workshops from crafting a Minecraft-style sword (HK$580.00) to building a handmade wood bench with traditional joints (HK$2,900.00).

But its biggest attraction is the ergonomic kneeling chair workshop. In addition to being one of the cheapest kneeling chairs available in Hong Kong (from HK$2,580.00), it also allows more customisation from the types of woods to fabrics.
