Also known as Blackhead Point, Signal Hill is a small park with an historic signal tower building at its centre.
The Signal Hill Tower was built for a time ball which was dropped twice daily from 1909 until 1933 (when it ceased operation) to signal the time to boats in Victoria Harbour.
The tower can be accessed for free and affords views of the harbour from the top floor.
