Stanley Xmas Wonder Market

12:00pm – 8:00pm
Free

The annual Stanley Plaza Christmas Market is one of the biggest Christmas markets in Hong Kong. This year, a wholesome ‘Christmas Wonder’ theme will adorn the Stanley Plaza every weekend from late November through to December 25th.

There will be decorations galore and a wide range of vendors selling gifts, pet products, jewellery, artwork and of course, copious amounts of food and drink. The market starts at noon on both Saturdays and Sundays so why not get yourself down to Stanley earlier for some much needed caffeine to get you through the afternoons festivities.

As mentioned, the market won’t be open continuously over the period. The exact opening dates are November 26/27, December 3/4, 10/11, 17/18, and 24/25.

The market is open from noon until 8 pm on those dates, giving you many opportunities to head down to Stanley for shopping.

It promises to be a beautiful day out in Stanley, with all the Christmas lights sparkling, and a festive spirit in the air.

Getting to Stanely Plaza

The easiest way to get to Stanley is by bus, on a scenic but windy road that traverses the hills down to the southside of Hong Kong Island.

Many buses leave Exchange Square in Central for Stanley, with Bus 6 and Bus 6X being the most frequent and convenient.

Additionally, organisers will be putting on free land and sea shuttles. Buses will run from Admiralty and Oi Tung Shopping Centre, while the free ferry will depart from Aberdeen Praya Road Landing No. 4. See the official site for more details.

You can also refer to the Stanley Plaza transportation guide for more bus routes from other parts of Hong Kong.
