People come from far and wide to see the wishing trees of Lam Tsuen from the first to the 15th day of the Lunar New Year. Wishes are written and then thrown on the trees attached to oranges in the hopes of them coming true. In order to avoid any injuries or damage to the trees, in recent years the small village has placed a fake tree and wooden placards. This year there will also be performances, stalls, and a photography competition. How to get there There are several ways to get to Lam Tsuen. You can go to Tai Po Market Station or Tai Wo Station on the East Rail Line, get off and catch the 64K, 25K minibus or 63R to the town (30 minutes). You can also take a taxi from Tai Wo Station which takes around 10 minutes.
