Break a sweat for a noble cause with FoodSport Foundation’s Hunger Run.
What to expect
Mark your calendars for October 15 as the Hunger Run charity event makes its triumphant return after a two-year hiatus. This year, as it celebrates its remarkable 10th anniversary, Hunger Run is spicing things up with a fun theme: cha chaan teng, the iconic Hong Kong style teahouses you know and love.
Dive into the action with three categories to choose from: the 10 km Buttered Pineapple Bun Run, the 3 km Deep Fried Chicken Leg Run (now featuring a brand-new Fun Roller race), and the 1 km Milk Tea Run.
As a token of appreciation, all participants will receive an exclusive Runner’s Pack with sports apparel and goods all artistically adorned with cha chaan teng food motifs and patterns.

What sets the Hunger Run apart is its noble cause. Every calorie you burn during the run will be transformed into food donations, benefitting the J Life Inclusive Community Centre. This organisation provides vital food support and care to underprivileged families residing in the Sham Shui Po district.
Proceeds from the event will be allocated to support the FoodSport Foundation‘s Food Assistance and Community Sports Development programs. By participating, you’re not only contributing to your own well-being but also championing public health and combatting poverty and hunger in the community.
