Marco Polo German Bierfest

6:00pm – 11:00pm
HK$160.00 (on the door)
Important: Due to the recent unrest in Hong Kong this event has been officially cancelled for 2019.

The Marco Polo German Bierfest is the biggest and longest running Oktoberfest event in Hong Kong. With its carnival-like atmosphere, live music, and super cold German beer, this award-winning event promises all night drinking and dancing.

The German Bierfest runs from October 17-27 at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The true sign of a great Oktoberfest is the size of its tent, and this event does not disappoint. The Marco Polo’s outdoor patio boasts a giant marquee, offering stunning views of the Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour.

Seated inside the open-air beer tent, guests are entertained Bavarian-style, with traditional tunes, fun games like the Alphorn-blowing contest, a chicken dance, and drinking competitions.

German band The Notenhobler plays this event every year, with hearty folk music and crowd pleasing favourites.

The Marco Polo German Bierfest proudly serves Erdinger, the world-famous wheat beer dating back more than 130 years. A special-edition Erdinger Oktoberfestbier is even produced once a year specially for the festival.

The action starts every night with a happy hour from 6pm-7pm, and the party lasts until 11pm.

Tickets are HK$160.00 for adults which includes one beer, and HK$120.00 for children, which includes one soft drink.
