Every winter the Central Harbourfront Event Space hosts a two-month-long family-friendly carnival, complete with rides, games, performers, and huge plush toys to be won.
What to expect
A popular day out for families on Christmas and New Year holidays, the carnival features traditional rides like a carousel, chair swings, giant slides, bouncy castles, and even an outdoor ice rink for skating!

The event goes 18 December 2024 to 16 February 2025.
Tickets
The carnival requires an entry ticket, and tokens for the games and rides. Ticket prices vary by day. For off-peak days, you can expect to get tickets from HK$95.00, whereas tickets rise to HK$100.00 and HK$110.00 on standard and peak days.
With 10 tokens included, tickets start at HK$140.00 for off-peak days, HK$150.00 for standard days, and HK$160.00 for peak days.

How to get there and nearby attractions
The Central Harbourfront Event Space is right next to the Hong Kong Observation Wheel, the Star Ferry Pier, and the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. It is also a few minutes’ walk to nearby Central attractions such as the Peak Tram and the Mid Levels Escalator.
