Kai Tak Sports Park is set to redefine Hong Kong’s sports and entertainment scene when it opens on March 1, 2025. Built on the former Kai Tak Airport site, this 28-hectare complex will be the city’s largest and most advanced venue for major sporting events, concerts, and community activities. At the heart of it all is the Main Stadium, a 50,000-seat arena offering views of Victoria Harbour. The stadium is designed to host everything from international football and rugby matches to large-scale concerts. Beyond the main stadium, the Indoor Sports Centre provides a 10,000-seat space for basketball, badminton, and e-sports. Meanwhile, the Public Sports Ground, with 5,000 seats, will serve as a community hub for school competitions, athletic training, and local sporting events. Located in Kowloon, the complex is accessible via the Tuen Ma Line, with Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station both within walking distance.
