World Sake Day 2024

Head to PMQ for the sake extravaganza of the year, hosted by Sake Central.

What to expect

To commemorate World Sake Day (October 1) in Hong Kong, premier sake destination Sake Central is hosting a sake festival. With a total of 16 booths and over 25 breweries presenting unique sake from across different regions of Japan, visitors can expect to sample a wide variety of beverages.

Experienced sake brewers will be on hand to educate and engage with visitors, sharing the intricate processes involved in brewing and more. From the polishing of rice grains to the precise fermentation and aging, attendees will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the craftsmanship that defines sake production.

To complement the sake, an assortment of snacks will be available for sampling.
