Experience an enchanting night of music and performance at Symphony Under the Stars.
What happens
Symphony Under the Stars is a fabulous event for many reasons: it’s free (with pre-registration), it’s outdoors, it’s next to Victoria Harbour, and you get to enjoy classical music performed by the award-winning Hong Kong Philharmonic, recognised as Asia’s foremost classical orchestra. As an added bonus, the night ends with a huge fireworks display too!
Don’t miss out on this chance to have an amazing evening at one of Hong Kong’s biggest outdoor concerts. This is also the largest annual event held by the Hong Kong Philharmonic, usually attracting some 15,000 people.
The show takes place at the Central Harbourfront Event Space of Hong Kong Island, on November 16.
Entrance is free, but as mentioned you will need to register in advance for tickets.
Past events have included incredible live performances of Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries”, John Williams’ “Star Wars – Main Theme”, Strauss’ “Blue Danube”, and Joe Hisaishi’s “My Neighbor Totoro”, to name just a few.
Symphony Under the Stars is also a family-friendly affair, with kids very welcome to attend. Seats are provided for all concert-goers, but get there early if you want to be close to the stage.
