The 2020 festival had to be cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, but there was hope that 2021 would go ahead. Alas, the 2021 version has also been cancelled.
The action takes place again on the scenic island of Cheung Chau, at the lush 11-acre Sai Yuen Camping Adventure Park. The October event has another excellent lineup of singers, bands, and DJs from Hong Kong and abroad:
The lineup below is for the planned 2020 event, but organisers state that “90% of the line up have already reconfirmed for the 2021 edition”, so it will look something like this.

The festival is, as always, eco-friendly with a zero plastic waste goal. There are also environmentalists giving eco-talks, plus beach cleaning sessions and yoga.
The venue for the concert, Sai Yuen, is an 11-acre ‘outdoor adventure playground’ on the Southwestern tip of Cheung Chau island.
Offering what is no doubt one of the most unique accommodations in Hong Kong, Sai Yuen has interesting camping options, such as geodesic domes and safari tents, which you can rent for the weekend while attending the concert.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, many events have been canceled. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
