Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival 2024

Head to Hong Kong’s favourite day trip destination for a unqiue arts extravaganza blending local culture, community, and ecology.

What happens

A three-year celebration of Sai Kung’s art scene that began in 2022, the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival is an immersive, open-air art experience spread out across the area’s many tiny islands.

The first year of the festival was themed ‘Joy Again, Isle’, featuring art pieces inspired by the lives of islanders in Yim Tin Tsai and Sharp Island. This year, the festival extends its reach to High Island and Kau Sai Chau, with exhibitions highlighting connections among local culture, ecology, and community.
