Refugee Week is a global arts and culture festival that celebrates the creativity of refugees. It is held every year during the same week as World Refugee Day (June 20), although there will be events throughout June.
What happens?
There will be several events taking place across Hong Kong that feature contributions from refugees. This includes performances, film festivals, fashion shows, workshops, and plenty of arts and crafts.
Schedule 2025
The theme for Refugee Week this year is “Community As A Superpower”. Highlights include a dance performance on June 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Eaton Hotel, 2/F Maggie Ballroom. Tickets cost HK$100.00.
