What to expect
A family-friendly race for children aged 3 and up, the inaugural edition of the Pokémon Run, organised by Sun Life, promises loads of fun.
With three race distances and diverse categories to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Opt for the 5km or 3km races individually, or team up with a friend or family member for the Team of 2 category in both distances. For a shorter option, the 1.5km race is available for individuals and Family Team of 2, perfect for adults teaming up with kids aged 3 and above.
Upon registration, every participant will receive a runner’s pack with Pokémon-themed merch, including a runner tee, finisher towel, multifunctional mat, drawstring bag, runner bib, sun visor, and more. All participants completing the race will receive an e-certificate of completion and a Pokémon Finisher Medal.
Apart from the race, the Pokémon Run Carnival will offer various Pokémon-themed activities, including a Meet and Greet session with popular characters like Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and, of course, Pikachu. There will be multiple game booths and Pokémon-themed photo spots, as well as a 6-meter-tall Pikachu.
Location
The event will take place at the Hong Kong Science Park, a sprawling campus located in the New Territories.
