What to expect

Taking place in March 2025 at the Macao Cultural Centre and Fisherman’s Wharf, this all-new jazz fest is just a hop, skip and jump away from Hong Kong.

Macao is known for its distinctive blend of Portuguese and Chinese culture, making it the perfect venue for a festival focused on jazz: a genre that unites diverse influences.

Notable performers

Coco ZHAO 赵可 — Vocalist

Coco Zhao, recognised as one of China’s most innovative voices in jazz, mixes traditional Chinese music with modern Western rhythms. As a composer, lyricist, and poet, he has collaborated with Grammy award winners, given performances at prestigious festivals, and boasts a rich discography.

Isabelle GEORGES — Vocalist

Isabelle Georges is a big name in the world of jazz and jazz fusion. Spanning genres, she has performed in award-winning musicals and created captivating shows.

Jazz Academy Band

Comprising over twenty exceptionally skilled and versatile musicians, this ensemble is a true jazz powerhouse. From smooth and sultry to upbeat and electrifying, every style and mood of jazz will be on display.

Promising to expose audiences to a wide variety of jazz, each concert will feature a unique style. After the concerts wrap up for the evening, there’s also plenty of opportunities to keep the good vibes flowing.

  • Swing Jazz (6 to 7 p.m.)
  • Cool Jazz (7:45 to 8:45 p.m.)
  • Jazz Fusion (9:30 to 10:30 p.m.)
  • American Graffiti After Party (11 p.m. to 3 a.m.)

Day 3 (Saturday, March 8)

  • Jazz in Movie (12:45 to 1:45 p.m.)
  • Ragtime & Early Jazz (2:30 to 3:30 p.m.)
  • Afro-Cuban Jazz (4:15 to 5:15 p.m.)
  • HipHop & Neo Soul Jazz (6 to 7 p.m.)
  • Acid Jazz (7:45 to 8:45 p.m.)
  • Electro Swing (9:30 to 10:30 p.m.)
  • Fiesta Latina After Party (11 p.m. to 3 a.m.)

Day 4 (Sunday, March 9)

  • Three Open Scene Concerts (2 to 6 p.m.) featuring local jazz bands.

Countdown Parties 2024

In addition, there will be a series of countdown parties taking place to give you a preview of the festival.

The first party, Countdown Party N°1: Celebrate 90’s, takes place on Saturday, 13 April, 2024.
