Calling all soccer fans: the HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens is back and bigger than ever– with a women’s edition to boot.
What to expect
The HKFC Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens is a major sports event hosted by the Hong Kong Football Club. It attracts young soccer clubs from across Europe.
Renowned for its distinctive seven-a-side format, matches are fast-paced, and the event serves as an important platform for emerging talents to gain international exposure.
This year is especially noteworthy as it marks the 25th anniversary of the HKFC Soccer Sevens. To celebrate, an inaugural Women’s Tournament is being launched. Eight women’s teams from Hong Kong and Macau will compete.
Expect to see Premier League giants such as Aston Villa, West Ham, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, and Leicester City, in addition to local favourites such as Tai Po and Yau Yee League Select.

The Sevens take place at the Hong Kong Football Club, located on 3 Sports Road, Happy Valley.

- Entry is free for all on Friday, 24 May.
- Free entry is granted for children under 5 years old all weekend.
- Single day tickets cost HK$150.00 and weekend passes are HK$250.00.
- Junior tickets (5-16 yrs) cost HK$50.00 for the day, and HK$80.00 for a weekend pass.
