A week of musical wonder at the Hong Kong International Music Festival.
What happens?
Since launching in 2013, the festival has grown into a global event, attracting participants from over 150 countries and regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, South Korea, and beyond.
More than 4,000 music professionals are expected to attend.
Schedule 2025
This year marks the festival’s 12th edition, and it will once again run alongside the International Music Education Summit, now in its third year.
The 2025 programme blends classical and contemporary music with a forward-looking focus: how traditional music and AI-generated music shape youth development. Educators and scholars from institutions such as the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the University of Sydney, Texas Christian University, and many others will gather in Hong Kong to explore music’s role in building confidence, creativity, and community in young people.
