What happens
We all know Hong Kong is a foodie city. The Hong Food Expo is a yearly exravaganza that showcases exactly why.
Taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, the expo is not just a place to discover new tastes and brands. In fact, you can also see and try out new food and experiment with emerging cooking technology.

In this year’s edition, every day of the event has its own theme. Here are the details:
- August 14: Shall We Tea?
- August 15: Flavours of Intangible Cultural Heritage
- August 16: Asian Delights
- August 17: Body, Mind and Soul
- August 18: Taste Hong Kong
The pavillions will spotlight diverse regions and their culinary heritages, including Indonesia, Japan’s northern prefecture of Aomori and various Chinese provinces including Sichuan and Chongqing, both known for their spicy flavors.
Tickets 2025
As in previous years, there are several concurrent events taking place. A combo ticket that costs HK$0.00 (pre-sale) per person gets you access to the Food Expo Public Hall, Gourmet Zone, Home Delights Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Hong Kong International Tea Fair. If you purchase on the day, the price goes up to HK$40.00.
