Sam Tung Uk Museum is a Hakka walled village from the 18th century.
The village was established by settlers from Fujian province. When the Tsuen Wan New Town was built in the 1980s, the village remained as a museum, with the residents moving out.
The museum retains a number of traditional buildings connected by narrow lanes. Displayed within the buildings are everyday items such as farm implements, furniture and cooking utensils.
