How to get to Lamma Island
Ferries from Central to Lamma Island are frequent, departing roughly every half hour. The ride itself is short as well, taking about 30 minutes give or take.
There are two different piers: Yung Shue Wan and Sok Kwu Wan. While the Yung Shue Wan side of Lamma is more densely populated and filled with cafés and bars, Sok Kwu Wan is less built up, offering a wilder vibe for those who seek it.
Below, we have a quick comparison of the ferry options at hand:

- Locate Central Ferry Pier 4
- Check the schedule for the next departing ferry
- Tap your Octopus, go through the turnstiles, and board the ferry
