Targeted towards chefs and waitstaff under the age of 28, this competition aims to spotlight the immense pool of local talent in the vibrant heart of Asia, revitalising Hong Kong’s standing on the international hospitality stage. Judges include renowned chefs Shane Osborn of Final Table fame and founder of Arcane and Richard Ekkebus, executive chef of Mandarin Oriental Landmark Hotel and its fine dining restaurant, Amber, among others.
The winning chef and waiter duo from each participating country will advance to the World Finals in Monaco, taking place on November 23-24.
