Exclusive offers, local flavours, and cultural finds await at the Yau Ma Tei Dining and Shopping Festival.

What to expect
Launched by the Yau Tsim Mong District Office in anticipation of the reopening of the old Yau Ma Tei police station, this two‑month festival highlights the district’s dining and shopping scene.
The station, built in 1922 in Edwardian style and long used as a backdrop in Hong Kong’s police and crime films, has been reimagined as an immersive exhibition space. To celebrate its revival and attract visitors, the festival brings together restaurants, kitchenware shops along Shanghai Street, the historic Jade Market, and more.
Participating businesses and organisations will offer special discounts and complimentary souvenirs to visitors. Find the complete list here.
A weekend Mini Bazaar adds to the fun, featuring cultural and creative products alongside traditional local snacks to highlight the district’s rich heritage.
