Running until October 10, the show explores how collaboration sparks innovation. The main theme is “creative cross‑pollination”.
Featuring seven groups of local and international makers, the exhibition showcases works that merge heritage techniques with modern imagination. Highlights include contemporary reinterpretations of scholar’s rocks, naturally formed stones traditionally admired in Chinese culture for their abstract beauty and contemplative qualities. Artisans draw on their distinctive forms to create new works using contemporary materials and techniques.
Explore a kinetic lantern installation and two debut works: Summer Blossoms, gold filigree flowers by Huimin Zhang, and Big Ben, bamboo steamers inspired by the London landmark by Hong Kong artisan Inkgo Lam.
Crafts on Peel is a non‑profit foundation housed in a historic Central building. It promotes traditional craftsmanship through collaborations between master artisans and contemporary designers, apprenticeships, workshops, and its Artisan‑in‑Residence programme, all with the aim of keeping heritage skills alive in modern design.
Tickets
Guided tours are available from Tuesdays to Saturdays in two time slots (11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.) Admission is free, but places are limited and allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis. To secure a spot on a tour, visitors must complete the registration form before attending.

Crafts on Peel is located at 11 Peel Street, Central. It is a 6-minute walk from Sheung Wan Station or a 10-minute walk from Central Station.
