teamLab, an art collective that specializes in digital art, interactive installations, and immersive experiences, is opening a brand new exhibition in Hong Kong.
What to expect
This spring, international art collective teamLab will unveil a new exhibition at Hong Kong’s Tamar Park and the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section). Organized collaboratively by the Art Promotion Office (APO) and Science Promotion Unit (SPU) under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong, the event will run from March 25 to June 2, 2024.
The display will feature two main artworks along Tamar Park and extending to Victoria Harbor in the city centre.
The first interactive installation, entitled “Resonating Life which Continues to Stand”, will feature brightly coloured ovoids, signifying connections between humans and the environment. The ovoids will respond to human engagement, with their lights flickering slowly.
The second artwork is titled “Resonating Trees”. The illumination of the trees in this piece will react to the ongoing light emitted by the artwork “Resonating Life which Continues to Stand,” creating a harmonious blend of tones and evolving colors.
All in all, the exhibition promises to be an extraordinary fusion of art and the environment, highlighting the vibrant harbourfront.
