The annual Stanley Plaza Christmas Market is one of the biggest Christmas markets in Hong Kong.
What happens?
Stanley Plaza’s annual Christmas Market transforms the scenic waterfront into a Christmas wonderland. With themed decor, artisanal stalls, and seasonal delights, it’s where you should head for gifts, festive food, and illuminations. Murray House often hosts additional attractions, including pop-up stores and charity events.
Schedule
This year, the event goes from December 14–15 and 21–26, and features a black-and-gold Christmas soiree theme.
There will be a Christmas market featuring over 120 stalls of handcrafted goods, festive snacks, and gifts for pets. Highlights include the Hong Kong debut of DEIGREEN ice cream, Wun Kee’s Eggrolls, and HoWong Brewing craft beers. There will also be a 4-meter Twinkling Christmas Tree at the amphitheater atrium or explore Murray House’s artisanal markets, pop-ups, and charity playground.
Getting to Stanley Plaza
The easiest way to get to Stanley is by bus, on a scenic but windy road that traverses the hills down to the southside of Hong Kong Island.
Many buses leave Exchange Square in Central for Stanley, with Bus 6 and Bus 6X being the most frequent and convenient.
Additionally, organisers will be putting on free land and sea shuttles. Buses will run from Admiralty and Oi Tung Shopping Centre, while the free ferry will depart from Aberdeen Praya Road Landing No. 4. See the official site for more details.
You can also refer to the Stanley Plaza transportation guide for more bus routes from other parts of Hong Kong.
