The Oxfam Trailwalker is a charity event that happens in many cities around the world — Hong Kong being one of them.
What happens?
The Oxfam Trailwalker is one of Hong Kong’s premier fundraising sporting events, challenging teams of four to complete a 100-kilometre trail within 48 hours.
Since its inception in 1986, over 100,000 participants have raised more than HK$600 million to support Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects across Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China.
Schedule
The 2024 event is scheduled for 15 to 17 November, starting from Pak Tam Chung in Sai Kung and finishing at Harrow International School Hong Kong in Tuen Mun.
