Packed with interactive programmes and family-friendly activities, uncover the riches of Hong Kong’s many museums through Muse Fest.
What happens
With 17 participating museums (basically all the municipal museums), Muse Fest is an effort by the city’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department to get Hongkongers to explore the many wonderful museums the city has to offer.
From the Hong Kong Space Museum to the Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery, various museums will be participating. Expect a wide variety of educational programmes, talks, and more, perfect for all in the family.
One of the festival’s key events is the ‘Fun@Museum Carnival,’ a two-day celebration that kicks off the festivities. This collaborative effort involves various cultural institutions such as the Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Science Promotion Unit, Conservation Office, Intangible Cultural Heritage Office, Hong Kong Public Libraries, Film Programmes Office, Audience Building Office, and Music Office, highlighting the wide range of Chinese cultural arts and disciplines.
Schedule
Muse Fest typically runs the entire month of November.
