Step into a world where art surrounds you.
What to expect
M+’s latest special exhibition, Dream Rooms: Environments by Women Artists 1950s–Now, invites visitors to experience immersive, multisensory installations that challenge traditional boundaries between viewer and artwork.
Featuring twelve large-scale environments by pioneering women artists from Asia, Europe and the Americas, the exhibition spans seven decades of visionary work. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the spaces by lounging on psychedlic martresses or navigating mirrored chambers.
Three newly commissioned works by Asian artists add fresh perspectives to this travelling exhibition’s first Asian edition.
Public programmes include Family Days with activities focussed on movement, sound, and storytelling, and Wellbeing Saturdays with yoga and slow-looking sessions.
