The coffee brand with a purpose, Coffee Boats, has dropped anchor with a new pop‑up in Wan Chai.
What to expect
Running until 19 December, the pop‑up store offers a chance to browse freshly roasted coffee beans, drip bags, and gift sets while exploring one of Wan Chai‘s heritage landmarks.
Built in 1924, Chun On Pawn Shop was closed in 2024, designated a Grade III historic building and then reopened as Project House @ Chun On Pawn, a community and exhibition space that preserves the pawnshop’s distinctive architecture while introducing its history to a new generation.
Founded in 2025, Coffee Boats is a social enterprise that combines specialty coffee with community impact. The brand donates 20% of its revenue to Caritas Hong Kong and works directly with coffee farms.
How to get there
The pop‑up is located at 91 Wan Chai Road, inside Project House @ Chung On Pawn.
The easiest way to reach the venue is via MTR to Wan Chai Station (Exit A3), followed by a short walk. Alternatively, take the tram to Fleming Road and it’s just a few minutes walk from there.
