Candlelight Concert

Candlelight, the internationally acclaimed concert series that stages live music in unique venues illuminated by thousands of candles, has arrived in Hong Kong.

What to expect

Offering intimate concerts that span classical masterpieces and reimagined pop hits, Candlelight will take over The Repulse Bay and PMQ for a limited time. Local ensembles will perform everything from Vivaldi and Mozart to Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.

Candlelight has previously lit up iconic venues in Paris, Barcelona and Dubai.

Schedule

There are a range of themed nights taking place over the next few months.

• Echoes of a ’60s Classic: The Beatles tracks reimagined at the Repulse Bay. May 22 and July 4 at differing times
• Tribute to Taylor Swift: All the fan favourites a Swifty could ask for. March 28 at 5 p.m at PMQ.
• Vivaldi’s Four Seasons: Spring, Summer, Winter, Autumn at The Repulse Bay. May 22, July 4 and August 2 at differing times.
• Ed Sheeran meets Coldplay: Expect all your favourites from both artists. June 27, 7 p.m. at PMQ.
• Abba and Queen Tribute: A showdown of legendary anthems with Queen vs. Abba. April 17, 7 p.m., at PMQ.
• Magical Movie Soundtracks: Hit songs and film scores from beloved films. May 28, 6:30 p.m. at The Repulse Bay.
• Tribute to Adele: Adele played by a string quartet. May 28 and August 2 at differing times at The Repulse Bay.

Prices range from HK$135.00 to HK$720.00 depending on the programme and seating selection. Tickets are selling fast and advanced booking is definitely recommended.

How to get there

The Repulse Bay is located at 109 Repulse Bay Road on the southern coast of Hong Kong Island.

By MTR & Bus: Take the MTR to Admiralty Station, then transfer to bus routes heading to Repulse Bay or take a taxi.

PMQ is located at 35 Aberdeen Street, Central and is easily accessible by public transport.

By MTR: Take the island line to either Central or Sheung Wan Station and walk around 5-10 minutes up to PMQ on Aberdeen Street.
