Asia’s leading platform for design and innovation, Business of Design Week, returns to Hong Kong.
What happens
Business of Design Week (BODW) is Asia’s premier annual event focusing on design, innovation, and brands. Organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre since 2002, it brings together leading design masters, brand leaders, and entrepreneurs from around the globe to discuss the value of design and innovation.
Schedule
BODW 2024 is scheduled from 2 to 7 December 2024, featuring over 40 sessions with more than 50 speakers from 10+ countries and regions. Big names include Kengo Kuma, the Japanese architect renowned for his boundary-breaking buildings, and Julia Capp, who leads the Paris-based luxury architecture firm RDAI.
The event includes keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
BODW is well-known for its innovative programming. In 2023, they adopted the theme of ‘Game Changers’ with a focus on ‘Circular Design’, reflecting a growing commitment to sustainability. Sham Shui Po, known for arts, crafts, and grassroots entrepreneurialism, was the neighbourhood in focus.

How to get there
The event will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Take the Island Line to Wan Chai Station (Exit A5) and walk approximately 10 minutes to HKCEC.
