The Hong Kong’s Asia+ Festival features over 100 performances and activities across genres.
What happens?

Asia+ Festival is a multi-month cultural extravaganza spotlighting traditional and contemporary arts from over 30 countries and regions. There are stage performances, interactive workshops, diverse snacks, exhibitions and an outdoor carnival.
Launched in 2023, Asia+ has grown rapidly, with the 2024 event featuring dances and musical performances, a national costumes exhibition and workshops from 23 countries, drawing over 100,000 attendees.

Here are some highlights:
- The Cherry Orchard: A modern Korean adaptation of Chekhov’s classic, starring Jeon Do-yeon and Park Hae-soo, directed by Simon Stone.
- YAMATO: The Drummers of Japan offers thunderous taiko rhythms.
- Tango After Dark: Germán Cornejo and his troupe perform Argentine tango.
- We wear our wheels with pride: A Zulu-inspired dance tribute from South Africa.
- Strangely Familiar: A cross-border dance collaboration between Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macao.
There will also be piano recitals by Nikolai Lugansky and Dang Thai Son, along with a father–daughter duet from Mischa and Lily Maisky.
Tickets
Tickets for most programmes are available online via URBTIX or in person at self-service kiosks. Standard ticket prices range from HK$180.00 to HK$520.00, with varying prices for different age groups and discounts available.
How to get there
Many of the events take place at either the Hong Kong Cultural Centre or Hong Kong City Hall, though venues vary depending on the specific performance so be sure to check when booking your tickets.
To get to the Cultural Centre from Central Station, take the Tsuen Wan Line to Tsim Sha Tsui Station (1 stop), then walk through the pedestrian subway to the waterfront.
City Hall is close by to Central Station. Exit the station via Exit J2 and walk 5–10 minutes toward Edinburgh Place.
