Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums presents Hong Kong’s most extensive showcase of ancient Egyptian artefacts.
What to expect

Hosted by the Hong Kong Palace Museum, this is set to be Hong Kong’s most extensive and longest-running exhibition of ancient Egyptian culture, bringing together treasures from seven leading museums in Egypt, alongside recent discoveries from Saqqara. Many of these artefacts are being shown in Hong Kong, and even outside Egypt, for the very first time.
The exhibition showcases 250 extraordinary artefacts, ranging from statues of pharaohs and deities to monumental coffins and preserved animal mummies. Organised into four thematic sections, it explores sacred kingship, religious beliefs, funerary traditions, daily life, and Egypt’s cultural exchanges with neighbouring civilisations.
There will also family-friendly workshops, and interactive displays. See your name in ancient hieroglyphs.
