This special two‑night dinner event invites guests to step into a culinary journey inspired by the Japanese best seller, Butter by Asako Yuzuki.

What to expect
This evening takes literature, folds in some gastronomy, and cooks up some space for conversation around food, identity, and connection.
There will be a seven‑course menu paired with wine, each dish tied to moments and ideas from the novel. Expect comforting flavours like butter, soy sauce, and rice, all meant to echo the novel’s protagonist as she deepens her understanding of food and its ability to tell stories.
Reading Butter beforehand is recommended to fully enjoy the experience, though not required. Spoilers may arise in conversation.
Tickets
The dinner takes place on February 27 and 28, beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are HK$1,180.00, inclusive of food and wine. Seats are limited to 20 guests per night.
Tickets are sold out but you can still join the waiting list.
A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to Room to Read Hong Kong, supporting children’s literacy.
